Emergency Travel
Applicants who wish to travel to the U.S. due to an emergency are advised to check the appointment wait time for regularly scheduled appointments to determine if an appropriate appointment may be available.
Applicants who are unable to secure timely appointments may email the Visa Inquiries Unit to request consideration for an earlier appointment.
Earlier appointments are accommodated on a case by case basis. While we will consider requests for earlier appointments in extremely emergent circumstances, our caseload and staffing will also affect our decision.
An earlier appointment is not a guarantee of visa issuance.
